Production Class 

Grades 6-12 (younger by audition only) 

The story you know, and love has been given the royal treatment! Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character. With expanded characters, new songs, and more thrills, this new adaptation of the beloved story will open up “a whole new world” for your young performers!

This class teaches all aspects of performance. The students will learn how to audition, conquer a callback and adhere to a rigorous rehearsal schedule. Students will learn theater lingo, stage directions and blocking. This theatrical experience culminates in live performances to sold out audiences! This fast-paced production class includes everything from auditions to closing bows!

The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh- Minis Class

This is an intro to theatre & performing arts for little ones. Learn basic elements of singing, acting, &  dancing through our exciting themed sessions.

Glamour and Gore

Theatrical Make-Up Workshop 

Whether your student wants to learn techniques for applying their own stage makeup or has an interest in learning theatrical make up they will enjoy Glamour and Gore! In this hands on class will teach students the basics of how to skillfully apply stage make- up.

  

Grades 5-12 (Parents also welcome to enroll)  

Wednesdays 5:30-6:30 pm

 

$150 in full or $20 per week*  

Cost includes a makeup kit

Create a whole new world with art! Students will explore the world of Agrabah with projects that use a variety of techniques and mediums.

Musical Theater

This class is themed and combines dialogue and singing with dance and theatrics.

Tech Class

Technical theatre: your student will learn everything that encompasses the making of a staged production. The areas of technical theatre are scenery, lighting, properties, costuming, and sound. Students will learn how all these areas work together in a production to establish the place, time period, and mood of the production. The tech class will be working on the Aladdin JR stage production!

 

Ages 10 and up

Stunts and Combat

Stage combat or fight choreography is a specialized technique in theatre designed to create the illusion of physical combat without causing harm to the performers.

  

Grades 3-12

Mondays 5:30-6:30 PM

Improv

This form of live theatre is where the plot, characters and dialogue of a game, scene or story are made up in the moment. Often improvisers will take a suggestion from the audience, or class instructor or draw on some other source of inspiration to get started. This class will help the student performer build confidence, courage, creativity, and will teach them to trust their instincts.

   

Grades 5-12

Acting 101

This class covers the basic elements of acting and character development. In this informative class the student performer will understand how to use their voice, body, mind and spirit to create a character.
