Winter 2022 CLASSES

Tuesday & Thursday 4:30-6:30

Ages 10-18

Fee: $325 or $30 per week (12 weeks)

Classes: January 11th-April 9th

No class the week of Spring Break (March 28th-April 1st)

Performances April 9th and 10th

Show will be unveiled in January - be on the lookout for the big announcement.  Past shows include Aladdin Jr., Frozen Jr., Lion King Jr. and more! The Production Class meets twice a week. This class is audition only. Anyone may sign up, but you must pass the audition to remain in the class. The class culminates in a full live stage production with costumes, sets, props, lighting, and special effects. It is a great experience for the advancing performer.

Act-UP

Ages 9-18

Mondays 5:30-6:30 

Fee: $150 or $20 weekly (8 weeks)

January 24th-March 14th

Showcase March 14th, 4:30-6:30

 

This class explores all components of improving your acting skills. Learn the top 10 common mistakes of beginning actors and how to overcome them. Enjoy each session as we dive in and perform sides, monologues, voice overs, and try our hand at improvisation. A fun class for the star to be!

Musical Theater Class

Ages 9-18

Fee: $200 or $25 weekly (8 weeks)

January 24th - March 14th

Showcase March 14th, 4:30-6:30

This class will explore all aspects of musical theater, singing, dancing, and acting. Students will act out scenes, learn choreography and songs such as Dig a Little Deeper, Friends on the Other Side and Almost There, as they hop along on an adventure through the bayous and learn to never let go of their dreams, and that with love anything is possible, no matter your age or color.

Theaterigans

Minis Class for Young Performers

Ages 5-8

Mondays OR Wednesdays

Monday: Jan 24th - March 14th 4:30-5:15

Wednesday: Jan 26th - March 16th 5:30-6:15

Fee: $150 or $20 weekly (8 weeks)

Showcase March 14th OR March 16th (based on class), 4:30-6:30

Mini Performers learn acting, Backyardigans style! Become a Theaterigan by learning to use your imagination when acting! This intro to theater combines the power of imagination with the magic of theater. Why do we sing our stories? Why do we break out in dance? How do you get in a show?  What is an audition? Your performer will have a ton of Theater fun as the classroom becomes any place we want it to be!!

The Art of Newsprint​

Visual Art

Ages 9-18

Tuesdays 5:30-6:30

Fee: $175 or $25 weekly (8 weeks)

January 25th - March 15th

Showcase March 15th, 5:30-6:30

Discover the versatility of newsprint through art! In this class, each student will learn various techniques and skills to expand their knowledge of visual art and expression. Projects will all focus around newsprint as an inspiration and medium and will include comic strip drawing, papier-mâché, printmaking, sculpture, creating your own newspaper page and more.

Payable invoices will be sent out the first week of class, please note on your registration form if you would like to pay all at once or do a weekly payment plan.

Payment

Please note that there is a limit to the size of the Production Class. Because of this, children who enroll in our Production Class might not make it in. Auditions will determine who remains in the class. So please have your student prepare for their audition. If students enroll in the Production Class and do not make it in, students will be moved into Musical Theater and Act Up.
