Show Cancellations

Performance cancellations due to inclement weather or other circumstances are very rare. When a performance must be canceled, we will make every attempt to contact you to make arrangements for an alternate date.

 

Food & Beverage Policy

Concessions are offered before the show and at intermission.  All concessions must be consumed before returning to the theatre, however drinks are allowed inside. 

Making a Purchase

Season pass and ticket purchases, as well as tax-deductible donations, may be made in person, by phone, or securely online. Unless otherwise noted, group sales and gift certificates are available by phone or in person only.

 

No Refunds Policy

Tickets are non-refundable and no credits will be issued for unused tickets, whether they were purchased individually or as part of a season pass purchase.

 

Ticket Exchanges

All ticket sales are final.  Exchanges for another performance of the current show may be made up to 24 hours prior to performance, subject to availability.  

 

Methods of Payment

The Center for the Arts accepts cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

 

Payment for Reservations

Tickets cannot be reserved without payment, which must be received at the time of purchase.

 

Receipt of Tickets

Tickets ordered over the phone or purchased online are sent to the patron e-mail provided at the time of purchase that may be printed at home. Patrons are also able to show their ticket using their phone as long as the bar code is clearly visible. For those who wish to have a standard ticket, they may come during open box office hours to have their ticket printed or by coming to the box office up to one hour prior to the show opening. 

 

Seating

All seating for The Center for the Arts is reserved seating. Patrons requiring special seating consideration due to a medical condition should contact the Box Office to make advance arrangements.

 

Arrival Time

The box office will open one hour before the performance begins. Doors to the theatre will be opened for seating by the Box Office Manager approximately 30 minutes prior to curtain. 

Latecomer Seating

Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the Box Office Manager at the first appropriate break that allows for the least disruption for the actors, as well as the rest of the audience. Please keep in mind only a limited number of latecomers can be accommodated. Please notify the Box Office at 615-904-2787 if you know you will be late to a performance so the Box Office Manager can be prepared. 

No Recording Policy

The use of recording equipment or the taking of photographs is strictly prohibited at all performances. This includes, but is not limited to, cell phones with cameras, video cameras, and audio recording devices. The Center for the Arts reserves the right to confiscate any and all devices in non-compliance to this policy.

 

Theatre Etiquette

In live theatre, almost any noise may be disruptive for other patrons, as well as the actors on stage. Out of courtesy, we request that all electronic devices (cell phones, pagers, watch alarms, etc.) be turned off and any lozenges or cough drops be opened before the start of the performance. Conversation must be kept to a minimum and text messaging is forbidden.
