The Center for the Arts is currently following guidelines from state and local government regarding re-opening procedures. We will post information about when summer camps will resume with in-person classes for the June sessions on May 15. Please check back for updates. 



Center Stage Academy summer camps are a FUN and creative way to experience the arts and build self-confidence.  Our youth spend two weeks working on a musical that they will get to perform on the Center’s Main Stage!

The Center offers four two-week camps and one week long tech camp for children in grades K – 12th grade.

Mini Camp $150: Grades K – 2nd Grade (9 a.m. to noon) **

Full Day Camp $300: 3rd Grade to Senior (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)

*before and aftercare available - check the box on your registration form and more information will be sent to you!

**Half day campers will not be appearing in the main stage performances

​If you would like to hold your spot, without paying the full tuition, you can pay a $50 non-refundable deposit.  Full payment must be received two weeks prior to camp date. 


​*Please note, you can not apply the early bird discount to a deposit.

​CSA Summer Camps introduce your children to the world of theater and performance. Each two-week session is jam packed with everything your child needs to know about musical theater. In this exciting, hands-on “Theater Boot Camp” your child will experience the thrill of auditions, casting, rehearsing and participating in four live performances to sold out crowds! Most of all-they have a blast as they work as a team to create a show they can be proud of!


​The two weeks culminates in four live performances complete with set, props, lighting and costumes. Each camper receives a show t-shirt, a DVD of the performance and one complimentary ticket for their family to use during one of these performances.

Camp Runs June 1-13

Based on the original Broadway production that ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, and the Academy Award-winning motion picture, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR. is a fantastic adaptation of the story of transformation and tolerance.  Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR. features some of the most popular songs ever written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice.

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

The 1950s are out, and change is in the air! Hairspray JR. is the family-friendly musical piled bouffant-high with laughter, romance and deliriously tuneful songs.  Adapted from the Broadway production that won eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Hairspray JR. is a show that will celebrate your students' diversity and bring audiences to their feet with its positive message and uproarious sense of humor.

It's 1962, and spunky, plus-size teen, Tracy Turnblad, has one big dream — to dance on the popular "Corny Collins Show." When she finally gets her shot, she's transformed from social outcast to sudden star. In balancing her newfound power with her desire for justice, Tracy fights to dethrone the reigning Miss Teen Hairspray, Amber von Tussle, and integrate a TV network in the process. With the help of her outsized mom, Edna, and guest DJ, Motormouth Maybelle, the rhythm of Tracy's new beat just might prove unstoppable.

The delicious adventures of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory light up the stage in this captivating adaptation of Roald Dahl's fantastical tale. Featuring the enchanting songs from the 1971 film, in addition to a host of fun new songs, Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka JR. is a scrumdidilyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone's sweet tooth.


Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka JR. follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats, but the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka's rules in the factory — or suffer the consequences.

Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek The Musical JR., based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical.  It's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance.  Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek JR. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.

Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek.  One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way.

We are offering a 5 day tech camp week which can be done altogether or on a day by day basis.
