THIS SHOW IS AGES 16 AND UP ONLY – NO EXCEPTIONS

MATERIAL:

Prepare 32 bars of a pop/rock song from the 1960s/1970s. Songs from the score of BEAUTIFUL are acceptable (except for “You’ve Got a Friend”). Bring sheet music or recorded tracks to audition with and be prepared to move/dance. You may be asked to do a cold reading from the script, which will be provided to you.

(If you are needed for callbacks, you will be notiﬁed by email TUESDAY, AUG 20th to return on WEDNESDAY, AUG 21st.)

REHEARSALS:

SUNDAYS, MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS & THURSDAYS (6:30-9:30pm) | SATURDAYS (11am-1pm)

(Not everyone will be called to every rehearsal.)

READ-THROUGH:

SUNDAY, SEPT 29th from 6-9pm

(It will be an ALL CALLED Read-Through in the Gallery. It is mandatory for everyone to attend and ﬁll out paperwork.)

Please bring a list of all known conﬂicts at auditions as this will help to determine the ﬁnal schedule.

A ﬁnal schedule with conﬂicts and scene breakdown will be provided to you by the end of the ﬁrst week of rehearsals.

An aspiring singer/songwriter. A unique, appealing, funny and vulnerable girl from a Jewish family in Brooklyn. Talented, good natured, unassuming and often the peace maker in difficult situations. A reluctant star with no pretense and a passion for music.
